Just enter the Google play store on your phone, then click on your profile icon which you will see from there on your right hand side. After you click on it, it will show you some options down there, you will go to Settings and you will see a screen like this.
Directly we will choose this symbol that we circled, from here it will open another screen like this too;
We will directly select (Auto Update Apps) and click, it will also open another screen which has three options like this;
This is the last screen where we will finish setting everything, after looking at the three options, you will only choose the last one that we have rounded up the phone (Do not update your apps directly)
If you click this and you're done, just whenever you think you need to update an application, you can go directly to Google playstore and do your Update manually.
